What is cost ?

  • 1.5 Hours $410.00 Seats up to 6 guests. ($417.18 with all fees)
  • Includes Santa Hats, Hot Chocolate, and Holiday music.

Do We Fit?

Our Jeeps fit 6 guests plus the driver guide. Recommended seating for up to 4 adults and 2 children/teens in the 3rd row seating. 

No children or infants seated on laps.

  • Where to Meet: Your Holiday Jeep Tour departs from Umbrella Alley 366 Jefferson Street San Francisco CA 94133  in Fisherman’s Wharf.

    Important: We no longer meet at the old llocation for Umbrella Alley on Beach Street.

Depending on traffic and timing, your guide may adjust the order of stops to give you the best holiday views and photo opportunities.

 

How long is the San Francisco Holiday Lights Jeep tour and when is it offered?

The Holiday Lights & Sites Jeep tour is approximately 1.5 hours long. It operates on select dates during the holiday season, typically in the evenings with departures aty 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM between December 13th and Christmas Eve.

Is the Holiday Lights tour suitable for children?

Yes, the Holiday Lights tour is family-friendly and great for kids, but for safety reasons children must be at least 3 years old and able to use an appropriate car seat or booster if required. No children may ride on laps. Please let us know in advance if you need child or booster seats so we can have them ready in the Jeep.

 

What is included with the Holiday Lights tour?

Your private Holiday Lights tour includes an open-top Jeep for your group, an entertaining local guide, hot chocolate, candy canes, fuzzy Santa hats, cozy blankets, and festive holiday music. Gratuities for your guide are not included but are greatly appreciated.

 

What should we wear on the Holiday Lights Jeep tour?

San Francisco winter evenings can be chilly and breezy, especially in an open-top Jeep. We recommend dressing in warm layers, wearing a coat or jacket, closed-toe shoes, and bringing a hat, scarf, and gloves if you get cold easily. Blankets and fuzzy Santa hats are provided, but extra layers will keep you more comfortable.

 

Does the Holiday Lights tour run in the rain?

The tour operates in very light rain or mist, and rain ponchos can be provided if needed. In the case of heavy rain, strong winds, or unsafe conditions, we may reschedule or cancel according to our weather policy and will contact you with options.

 

Where does the Holiday Lights Jeep tour start and end?

Your private Holiday Lights Jeep tour  departs from Fisherman’s Wharf at Umbrella Alley 366 Jefferson Street SF Ca 94133 

Detailed meeting instructions are included in your confirmation. The tour ends back at Umbrella Alley in the Fisherman’s Wharf area 

 

Can we customize the Holiday Lights route or make special requests?

Within the 1.5-hour time frame, your guide will do their best to honor special requests, such as extra time at a favorite tree, viewpoint, or neighborhood, as traffic and timing allow. Because this is a seasonal route with many popular stops, the core Holiday Lights itinerary is designed to maximize what you see in the time available.

 

Do we need to tip our guide, and what if we don’t carry cash?

Guide gratuities / tips are not included in the tour price but are greatly appreciated for excellent service. If you do not have cash, your guide can provide a QR code or digital payment link so you can leave a tip by card or mobile wallet.
